Hi all! Here is a list of the spirit week days and their descriptions! Due to Columbus Day and PSAT testing, the Thursday and Friday preceding "Spirit Week" will be included as spirit days! Student government is looking forward to another amazing Spirit Week, and we hope all of you are just as excited as you are!
Thursday, October 5th DAY 3: Dynamic Duo Day
Choose two characters to dress as with a friend OR dress alike with a friend! Be Mario and Luigi, or Woody and Buzz Lightyear. Be creative and costume up!
Friday, October 6th DAY 4: Sports Day
(Freshmen Field Trip)
Wear a football, baseball, or your favorite sports team's jersey! Show off your team and try dressing from head to toe!
Monday, October 9th - Columbus Day - NO SCHOOL
Tuesday, October 10th DAY 5: Lazy Day
Avoid the chaos of trying to find your uniform after a long weekend by coming in your pajamas! Onesies, flannels, sweats, and more. Stay cozy AMSA.
Wednesday, October 11th DAY 6: Regular Dress Down Day *No $1 Charge*
(Seniors will be off campus for college visits due to PSAT testing)
Students, please follow the regular dress down day rules. NO THEME.
Thursday, October 12th DAY 7: America Day
Celebrate America by dressing in a way you think represents it! Wear a hotdog suit or red, white, and blue, or something of your own appropriate choice. Remember, Upper Schoolers will be decorating at the end of the school day for the Color Wars Competition!
Friday, October 13th DAY 8: COLOR WARS
Wear your class color! Get excited for the Pep Rally, banner reveals, and much more! Stay after for one of the home games to support the AMSA sports teams. Get ready for the Homecoming Dance and the announcement of the Color Wars Winner the next day! **Upper School students will be dismissed at 1:30pm from their 6th period (E block) class - The rally will run until the end of the day (F and G block missed).
**All students are expected to follow dress down day rules - Any inappropriate or offensive attire is prohibited
