May Day Strong – National Day of Action (May 1st)
On May 1, 2026, workers, students, and families rally, march, and take action across the country to demand a nation that puts workers over billionaires, with many refusing business as usual through No School. No Work. No Shopping.

May 1 will be a coordinated day of action where we are demanding:
Tax the rich so our families, not their fortunes, come first.
ICE Out. No private army serving authoritarian power.
Expand democracy, not corporate power. Defend free and fair elections not a rigged disaster.

On Friday, May 1st, Third Act is coming together again with millions across the country to remind everyone – this May Day, It’s Workers Over Billionaires!
Third Act is proud to partner with AFL-CIO, Indivisible, Climate Defenders, Fridays for Future USA, MoveOn, Move To Amend, Sunrise Movement, and hundreds of other groups in this effort.

Our role is to bring the power and wisdom of elders to this movement, making sure our voices are heard loud and clear to protect our democracy and our rights.
We aim to promote and mobilize attendance at these events nationwide. Third Act volunteers and Working Groups can be involved in various ways, including encouraging participation in an event hosted by others or sharing the sign-up page on the website.
