The Spanish and Art Teachers at MMS joined forces for a cross curricular project on Spanish artist Joan Miro.They learned about him and his style and then created their own interpretation of a Miro painting.

ETSD Elementary Honors Band has started preparing for their concert on June 5th at the Cherokee Performing Arts Center. The District Elementary Honors band is composed of 62 students from our 6 elementary schools. The students are selected based on a progress report they are given at the end of March.

Some of DeMasi Elementary School School students practicing the recorder. Recorder is part of our 3rd grade curriculum and helps in preparing our students to also participate in our instrumental music program. Our district 3rd graders have the opportunity to participate in Orchestra while our 4th and 5th graders can participate in band and orchestra.
