We hope you and your family are soaking up these last few days of summer! ☀️ While you are enjoying the final days of summer break, we are busy preparing for the return of our students on August 13!

The District 102 administrative team has been hard at work this week, participating in several important meetings and preparing for a successful start to the school year. This morning, we were excited to welcome our new GMS teachers and mentors for orientation! We are looking forward to introducing them to our students and staff and cannot wait to see our schools come alive again. 🧡🖤

North Pekin/Marquette Heights School District #102 will be conducting screening for the B.E.A.R.S. Preschool program. The screening dates will be July 29-30 (if necessary). You can call the MES office at 382-3612 for an appointment.
All three and four year old children who reside in the district are eligible for screening. All children must be three by September 1, 2026, to qualify for this screening. Families will be notified in August if their child will be in the program or on the waitlist. Any students currently enrolled in our preschool program or who were screened in May do not need to be rescreened.
Proof of residency will be required before screening takes place for families who do not have students currently enrolled at Marquette.
