Early voting is underway for the August 4th Primary.

This election is particularly important for our county. If you live in Marquette County District 1 or District 3 please consider voting for the candidates I have endorsed.

Cody Mayer for Marquette County Commission District 1 and Jenna Smith for Marquette County Commission are both former Mayors of Marquette who have a vast amount of experience understanding and working through local issues. If elected I’m confident in not only their ability to lead, but their ability to move Marquette forward.

Please make a plan and take the opportunity to vote.

This is NOT an E-Bike! E-Motorcycles comparable to the photo below are considered an ORV and NOT allowed on city streets or the multiuse path. Our department has received several complaints about people driving these on city streets and the multiuse path.

Last week my friend, Jenna Smith, announced her candidacy for Marquette County Commissioner in District 3.

I am proud to endorse her and encourage anyone in District 3 to vote for her to represent them.

I have known Jenna for a number of years and had the privilege of serving alongside her on the Marquette City Commission for her final two years on the board. I’ve seen firsthand the kind of leader she is.

Jenna understands the issues better than anybody. She’s always exceptionally prepared, detail oriented, and fully committed to doing the work necessary to make thoughtful decisions for our community. Her professionalism and dedication certainly inspired me, as it was clear she never took the responsibility of public service lightly.

As a former Mayor of Marquette, Jenna has already demonstrated outstanding leadership for our community. She understands how to bring people together, tackle difficult issues, and advocate for residents with both compassion and determination. She has the experience, work ethic, and steady leadership that Marquette County desperately needs.

Most importantly, nobody will work harder for this community than Jenna. She genuinely cares about the people she serves and is deeply invested in the future of Marquette County.

Please join me in supporting Jenna Smith for Marquette County Commission.
