⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE TO MARS BOROUGH RESIDENTS AND WATER CUSTOMERS ⚠️

A leak in the water system has been detected. Until work can be completed, we are requesting that all Water Customers conserve water as much as possible.

If you notice soft spots in the ground or have low water pressure, please call 724-625-1480 and leave a message with Public Works so they can investigate.

We apologize for this inconvenience and are working to remedy the situation as quickly as possible. Updates will be provided as they become available.

Mars Area Public Library plays a vital role in the success of downtown Mars. If anyone is interested in assisting with their current situation, the information can be found in this post and on their website.

Our library could use a little extra community support ❄️

Recent ice dams have caused significant water damage in the building, and repairs ahead will be costly. We are grateful for the continued efforts of staff, board members, and community supporters.

🚜❄️ Public Works in Action on Grand Ave ❄️🚧

Our Public Works Department was out on Grand Avenue today, continuing snow removal and cleanup efforts to keep roadways passable and sidewalks accessible after the recent winter weather.

As crews work, we ask motorists to slow down, stay alert, and give equipment and workers plenty of space. These folks are out in the cold keeping the Borough moving—and safety is a shared responsibility.

Thank you to our Public Works team for their hard work and dedication, and thank you to residents and drivers for your patience and cooperation.
