The celebration continues! Join us at 11:00 AM in downtown Mars at the Spaceship for the new flagpole dedication ceremony. Then, at 2:00 PM food trucks and vendors will be set up on Pittsburgh Street and at 5:30 PM the parade will begin at Marburger field, proceed down Beaver Street to Pittsburgh Street, then to Irvine Street, and finally to Grand Avenue. To wrap up the day, join us at Marburger Field in Mars Borough for a community picnic where past and current Mars Borough Council members will be serving up 250 hotdogs free to the public. Rumor has it the field is a great spot to catch the fireworks so bring your favorite snacks and drinks and settle in for the fireworks at dusk with music provided by Justice Merkel.
