The Illinois River Valey Chamber was established in 1968 to promote tourism and foster economic development throughout the Illinois River Valley. Since its inception, the Chamber has initiated several strategic projects in the Marseilles/Seneca area to bolster community development and attract new commerce.

Marseilles Nursing Service in Cooperation with the Seattle Sutton Family are hosting an event on July 25th that includes a Dr Sutton Memorial River Walk, Taste of Marseilles, and tours of the Marseilles Museum. This will be set up in the parking lot of the Marseilles city Hall building.

Wednesday kicks off our 1st summer kids activity! A few familiar faces from the Middle School will be in attendance to run the free throw contest. Sign up under the pavilion from 10-10:15, then we will start right after. Come have some fun, grab some lunch, and meet your friends on the playground. It will be warm, but popsicles and drinks will also be provided in addition to lunch!
