To know her was to love her: Joyce Hammers.
To know her is to love her: Helen Warwick.

The MHCLC awarded the first, For the Love of Literacy Award in memory of Joyce Hammers, today to Helen Warwick.

Joyce served as the MHCLC Executive Director for 18 years. She had a heart for Marshall and a love for people. She served others well.

Those same qualities are evident in Helen Warwick. Helen spends hours as a volunteer tutor for MHCLC. She loves helping others reach their literacy goals and is a great encourager.

Thank you Helen Warwick for all you do. Thank you to Joyce Hammers for laying a great foundation for Marshall Harrison County Literacy Council.
