Congratulations to the 3 newest members of the MN Army National Guard, Mua Vang, Evan Lor and BJ Yang. All 3 go to WWG HS and were all able to join together. Mua and Evan are both seniors this year and will be 13J (fire support specialist) in Jackson MN. BJ will be (infantry) 11B in West St.Paul once he graduates and completes AIT. Congratulations to the newest member of the MN Army National Guard, August Olson. August is a senior at RRC HS and will be a 31E (corrections/detention specialist) once he returns from training. He was able to secure the GI Bill and Kicker along with up to $22500 per year in college tuition reimbursement. August plans on going to college for law enforcement once he returns from training. Congratulations to the newest member of the MN Army National Guard, Jaxon Wendorff. Jaxon is currently a senior at Murray County Central HS and decided to become a 14G ( Air Defense Battle Management System Operator). Jaxon has had a busy senior year as he was a member of the MCC football team making it to the State semi finals, now getting ready to wrestle sections this weekend and capping it off by joining the guard today. Today was a busy day, so help me in welcoming Hayden Guggisberg to the MN Army National Guard as well. Hayden is a senior at Marshall HS and will be a 91E (allied trades specialist). Congratulations to the newest member of the MN Army National Guard, Baw Htoo. Baw is a senior at TMB this year and will be a 13F (Fire support specialist) in Mankato once his training is complete. He plans on moving to Mankato when he gets home and attending college there. Baw is excited to join his friends in the National Guard- joining a big group of former TMB students and also some currently in the process. Congratulations to the newest member of the MN Army National Guard, Brock Swanson. Brock is a senior at Marshall High School. Today he was able to secure himself a $20,000 bonus by doing an amazing on the ASVAB and choosing to become a 91M. (Tank Mechanic) He will drill out of Chisholm MN when he gets home. He also plans on attending college up north when he gets home. Congratulations Brock and welcome to the team!
