PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given to the public and news media pursuant to Wisconsin Laws that a SPECIAL MEETING of the School Board of Jt. School District No. 2, Village of Marshall, towns of Cottage Grove, Deerfield, Medina, Sun Prairie, and York, Dane County, Wisconsin will be held on September 2, 2026, at 5:15 pm. The meeting will be held in the District Office Board Room. Participants should enter through the District Office entrance. Upon request to the District (608) 655-3466, submitted twenty-four (24) hours in advance, the District shall make reasonable accommodations including the provision of informational
material in an alternative format as necessary for a disabled person to be able to participate in this activity. At least twenty-four (24) hours advance notice of the need for accommodation is appreciated.
Comments/questions should be emailed to Michele Miller before the meeting
([email protected]). Board of Education members may be participating in the meeting from remote locations through use of communications technology.

Mini Cards, BIG Cheer!

What a fun Friday night at Marshall High School! Our Marshall High School cheerleaders hosted a “Mini Cards” cheer camp, where Marshall students learned cheers, practiced a routine, and then took the field to perform during halftime of Friday night’s varsity football game against the Deerfield Demons!
We loved seeing our youngest Cardinals showing their school spirit and cheering on the team! A great time was had by all!

Band Instrument Testing!
Any student who is new to band this year should come out to our Instrument Testing Night on Wednesday, September 2nd. 15 minute time slots to try out three different instruments are open between 4:00-6:00pm. Each student will leave knowing what instrument they will get to play that school year.

Freshman are READY to !

Our incoming freshmen spent an afternoon getting to know their high school, meeting staff, learning schedules, routines, expectations, and, most importantly, learning what it means to be a Marshall Cardinal!

From scavenger hunts and teambuilding challenges to Cardinal cheering groups and signing our Commitment to Graduate banner, our newest Cardinals were building connections, teamwork and character every step of the way.

Project Manager Zac Zeuske shared "We’re putting the final touches on our construction projects at all four schools, and we’re excited to welcome students back next week!" A big thank you to Vogel Bros. Building Company, our custodial crew, and everyone who has worked hard to get our buildings ready for the 2026-2027 school year.

People Making a Difference for our Students!

Marshall Public Schools is incredibly grateful for the generous community support we’ve received to start the 2026-27 school year!

Marshall Lions Club Stuff the Bus brought more than $10,000 in school supplies for students across all four buildings! The Lions Club not only collects donations but also uses club funds to purchase many of our schools’ most-needed items.

Vogel Bros. Building Company also joined the effort by donating two flats of notebooks, binders and other supplies.

Waterloo Masonic Lodge #63 generously donated $1,000 to our Angel Fund, which helps families with in-need lunch balances. The Wisconsin Masonic Foundation matched that gift with another $1,000!

We are so thankful for the organizations and community members who continue to support our students. Your generosity makes a direct difference for our Marshall Cardinals! Thank you for helping our students start the year ready to learn!

Welcome, New !

Marshall Public Schools is excited to welcome our newest teachers and pupil services staff for the 2026-2027 school year!

Our new certified staff spent the week of August 17 on campus for onboarding, mentoring, professional development, and getting to know their new colleagues and the Marshall Public Schools community. We are excited to have you on our team and can’t wait to see the difference you’ll make for our students! Welcome to Marshall!
