The Marshall Police Department is seeking applicants for the position of full time Police Officer.
Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, a minimum of 21 years old, a high school graduate or equivalent (GED), possess a valid driver's license and pass an extensive background investigation. Applicants must also pass pre-employment drug screen and physical. Previous law enforcement experience will be considered. Applicants who are not currently Illinois State Certified Police Officers will be required to pass the Illinois Police Officer P.O.W.E.R test, written test and oral interview.
The Marshall Police Department offers competitive salary with yearly increases along with yearly longevity increases, pension plan, family insurance (medical, dental, and vision) and post-retirement insurance benefits. The benefit package also includes paid vacation, personal and sick days. Residency requirements were extended to a 30-mile radius within the State of Illinois.
