Our chamber has three missions: Promote our chamber members, advance tourism in Searcy County, and conduct Economic Development! The Greater Searcy County Chamber of Commerce is located in the center of the beautiful Arkansas Ozarks, near the famous Buffalo National River. When you purchase a ticket for the VFW Post #12127 & American Legion Post #131 Gone Fishing Give Away, you’re doing much more than buying a chance to win a 1997 Ranger Sport R82 boat with trailer.
You’re helping Leslie’s veterans continue giving back to our community.
Our local VFW and American Legion organizations use the funds we raise to support a number of charitable and community efforts throughout the year — including something we are especially proud of:
$1,000 scholarships for local graduating students who are pursuing training and careers in the skilled trades.
College isn’t the only path to a successful career. Welders, electricians, plumbers, mechanics, HVAC technicians, construction professionals and other skilled tradespeople are essential to the future of our rural communities. We want to help local graduates get the training they need to build a career, earn a good living, and hopefully bring those skills back home.
Every $20 raffle ticket helps us continue that mission.

Tim Crouch is a veteran of hundreds of country albums and plays The Grand 'Ole Opry stage regularly, including recent performances with acclaimed bluegrass, country, and gospel duo Dailey and Vincent! SHINE EYE YELL also features Grammy award winning producer and engineer Scott Hoffmann. "Big Flat" was written and performed by Caleb J.
