Thank you so much for celebrating National Undergraduate Research Week with us! We had some amazing presentations from faculty and students. Today is the final day and we would like to highlight the MVC Archives.

The archives can be found on the Murrell Library & Academic Support Center page on the MVC website. This is a resource full of the history of this institution and the amazing things that have happened here at Missouri Valley College. You can look at past Purple Patch books, see the Greek Life of the past, check out our sports teams, and so much more.

Follow this link to search through the MVC Archives and have a great Friday!

"Resumes Are Weird"
How to make yours actually work

If you’ve ever felt unsure how to describe your experience, been frustrated by sending applications and hearing nothing back, or wondered whether your resume is effective, this workshop is for you. All are welcome.

Building on the many strong career resources Missouri Valley offers - this workshop will offer more about how to get hired fast in the real world.

Resumes - and everything to do with getting hired - is more art than science. There's not much about it that's very linear, logical, or fair, and while there is no single “right” way, some things seem to work better than others.

In this interactive session, Eric Woodard will share practical, no-nonsense strategies - some of which may challenge conventional advice that doesn't really work - that you can use to elevate your career right now.
