The housing choice voucher program is the federal government's major program for assisting very low-income families, the elderly, and the disabled to afford decent, safe, and sanitary housing in the private market. Since housing assistance is provided on behalf of the family or individual, participants are able to find their own housing, including single-family ho

mes, townhouses and apartments. What is the Public Housing Program?- Affordable apartments for low-income families, the elderly and persons with disabilities. We currently have two (2) properties located in Marshall, TX that are part of our Public Housing program: Poplar Apartments and Oakley Apartments.

The Marshall Housing Authority is proud to accept HUD-VASH Vouchers and support Veterans who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of becoming homeless. ❤️💙

If you or a Veteran you know may qualify, HUD-VASH can provide housing assistance along with supportive case management services to help Veterans achieve safe, stable housing. 🏡✨

📋 A VA referral is required. Veterans should work with their VA caseworker to submit a VASH referral to the Marshall Housing Authority.
