🚨 SCAM ALERT: Fraudulent “DMV/DOT” Text Messages 🚨

We’ve been made aware of scam text messages claiming to be from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation or DMV, stating that you have unpaid traffic violations and threatening suspension of your vehicle registration or driver’s license.

These messages may look official and include urgent language or links demanding immediate payment. This is a scam.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will not demand payment or threaten enforcement actions through unsolicited text messages.
