Today we welcomed International SMSU student Nicole. She presented on her homeland of Tawain. We learned about her culture, family population, foods and so much more. We followed her presentation with a couple samples.of her favorite things: Bubble Tea and Spring Rolls 😋 Little did we know when we planned this, that today also happened to be National Tea Day and Egg Roll Day. 😊

We were also able to giveaway 3 at home kits to make your own bubble tea

Our garden is loving all this heat and growing well. This year we have new varieties of tomatoes, peppers, kholarabi, and herbs.The zinnia seeds are even coming up plentiful. Can't wait for all the beautiful 🌼🏵and 🦋!!

Following our coffee social, we welcomed Bodyworks by Veronika Ludewig-www.bodyworksbyveronika.com to learn about and participate in Chakradance.
Participants had the opportunity to engage in a guided movement with music and meditation that supports relaxation, stress reduction, and personal well being improvements. 🧘‍♀️ We ended our session with a Mandala Art Excercise.
We are very appreciative of the Southwest Initiative Foundation and the Paul and Alma Schwan Aging Trust Endowment Fund for their support in helping us to provide new wellness experiences.

Do you want to feel more confident using your iPhone? Join instructor Marci Petersen for this relaxed, hands-on workshop designed especially for adults who want practical help with everyday iPhone use.

Learn how to:
• Spot scammers and spam calls/texts

• Fix “Storage Full” problems
• Use helpful shortcuts and settings

This MCS class is for iPhone users only and will be held at the Adult Community Center. Cost is $45. Registration is handled through Marshall Community Services.

Today we welcomed SMSU student, Nokuthaba, for the 1st in our International Student Series. Nokuthaba is from Zimbabwe. She took us on a journey of her country's culture, her family, food, and traditions. Thank you for sharing your time with us.

This morning we welcomed John from Rob’s Locker & Catering to talk about all things BEEF for our May is Beef Month Men's Event. The guys got to sample multiple flavors of his beef sticks, some jerky, and a new demo flavor of summer sausage. All was delicious 😋

No snowstorm to stop us today! A huge shout-out to Lyon County Museum Marshall, MN director Jennifer Andries for sharing about Women's fashion through the decades today. Originally scheduled earlier this year but a snowstorm pushed it off until today, this ladies event was interesting, and beautiful all rolled into one.
