This event brings together community members to support local charities and provide scholarships for youth in public safety education. Even if you're not a golfer, you can participate by sponsoring a hole and displaying your company's logo. All proceeds will benefit local charities and deserving students. ⛳️

➡️ Is your senior or do you know a senior pursuing education in the field of public safety (Fire Science, Criminal Justice or EMS)? If so, we're seeking applicants! Many of these schools have been informed and we will continue our efforts to inform them. The current selected qualified schools are as follows.

- Meskwaki Settlement School

- GMG
- Gladbrook-Reinbeck

B Crew getting some relay pumping reps in!!

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗽𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴?
Relay pumping is the process of moving water from a source (like a hydrant or pond) through one or multiple fire engines in line with one another to maintain high water pressure over long distances.
𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗼 𝘄𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘁?
When the fire is far from a water source, a large amount of hose is required. Water pressure is drastically affected (lowered) when utilizing hose at great lengths. Mastery of relay pumping ensures a continuous, high-volume flow of water, which is essential to all fire attacks.

• Low limbs scrape trucks, & block views.
• Trim to help school buses, fire trucks, snowplows, and deliveries move safely
• Keep walkers safe
• Bag or mulch trimmings, keep gutters and curbs clear
