Mondays are fun! Exciting day at Bickford of Marshalltown!! We invited the Marshalltown Police Chief to the Branch today and he did not disappoint! Police Chief Christopher Jones came and spoke to our Residents about all kinds of different things, from how his career started and all the titles he's held, to what's going on at the Department (they're hiring!!) to family and other exciting things happening in town! Residents participated with questions and compliments and just had a great time! We will definitely invite the Marshalltown Police back to Bickford again in the future!!

On Saturday, we were honored to be at the PD for the Dan Brandt Memorial Bench dedication. MPD Reserve Officer Dan Brandt passed away in 2025. Dan was a founding member of the Iowa State Reserve Law Officers Association and was a member for over 50 years. He was a great addition to our team for many years, and we miss him.

The final numbers for the 2026 Arresting Hunger Food Drive resulted in the following:

$2,770 in monetary donations 💰💵🪎
