House of Compassion

House of Compassion The House of Compassion is a non-profit organization that serves the people of Marshall County.

House of Compassion serves residents of Marshall County, Iowa through a nightly free meal, a supply closet with household & personal items, and programs to assist with various needs in the community. We provide the following services; Supply Closet (provides personal hygiene products), Soup Kitchen (for anyone who is hungry),and a Medical Assistance Program. We invite you to stop in, say hello and check out our volunteer opportunities.

S.T.E.P. members chose to provide grant funds for the House of Compassion Soup Kitchen which provides an evening meal six days a week. This grant aligned with their food insecurity priority.
