Below are some meetings taking place this week at the Town Hall – 10970 Hwy N:

Tuesday, December 9, 2025 – 6:00 pm

The Town of Rock Zoning Restructuring Committee & Planning Commission will be having a WORK meeting for the purpose of reviewing and continuing to make updates to the Comprehensive Land Use Plan to be compliant with Wood County.

Tuesday, December 9, 2025 – 7:30 pm

The Town of Rock Planning Commission will be meeting with Bach Excavating to discuss future plans for the pit located on Hwy B.

Thursday, December 11, 2025 – 4:30-6:30 pm

Property tax payments will be collected.

Thursday, December 11, 2025 – 7:00 pm

**Attention Town of Rock Residents**
There have been reports of domestic pets with Rat Poison (rodenticide) effects.
Besides being directly toxic to the mammals that ingest them, including dogs, cats, and humans, many rodenticides present a secondary poisoning risk to animals that hunt or scavenge the dead corpses of rats.

Please use rodent traps instead of poison!!!!!

**FOUND DOG**
Found on Hwy N, right before the school forest. Dog was heading west to east by the Lindsey Bar. Reportedly a male and very friendly. Town Constable took him to Marshfield shelter. Please share!

Please join your community at the Town of Rock Hall every 2nd Thursday of the month to stay informed.

Wanted to take a moment to thank those who went out during the storm to clear roads and help with clean-up. Several of those on the Town Board went out to help. We don't always know what goes on behind the scenes, but our elected local officials are doing much more than we all realize! WE THANK YOU!!

4/14/24 FIRE DANGER: 🔥🔥VERY HIGH🔥🔥Burning is NOT ALLOWED today due to elevated fire conditions of very low humidity, gusty winds, and warm temps. We urge you to be careful with any activities that could potentially lead to wildland fires. Campfires, outdoor grills, smoking materials, chain saws, and ATVs all have the potential to throw a spark and ignite a dangerous and destructive fire. Please use extreme caution today so we don't come visit you!
