The Marshfield Classic returns to Whispering Oaks Golf Course in ONE WEEK! This tournament is known for its serious payouts!

This year's tournament features our NEW 3-Man Scramble format, great competition, and the chance to take home some serious cash. 💰

Please find below the events schedule recently released by the Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce's Fourth of July Celebration Committee and the Webster County Celebrations (250th Subcommittee) for our county's observance of America's 250th Anniversary.
Additional information regarding the scheduled Semiquincentennial events will be released through the Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce as it becomes available. We encourage everyone to watch for updates and make plans to participate in this historic celebration.
As we prepare to commemorate our nation's 250th birthday, we are especially proud that Marshfield (county seat) will serve as the host community for this important milestone. Our community has a long tradition of patriotic celebrations, and Marshfield's Independence Day Celebration holds the distinction of being the oldest in the State of Missouri and the oldest west of the Mississippi River.
We look forward to joining together as a county to celebrate our nation's history, honor those who have helped preserve our freedoms, and create new memories for future generations.
We hope to see you at these events, and we look forward to seeing picture of your events throughout the county!

Semiquincentennial Schedule 2026

Friday, July 3:

● 11 AM- Concessions and Craft Booths Open- Marshfield Square

● 11 AM- 3 PM- Webster County Museum Open (Free Admission)

● 4 PM- Tour of the Marshfield Community Center (Old Marshfield High School-Gym Entrance)-Gather in the gymnasium.

● 5 PM- Reunion Fest begins in Reunion Field behind the Marshfield Community Center (the old High School).

● 5:45 PM- Flag ceremony by Boy and Girl Scout Troops; Official Welcome to Semiquincentennial.

● 6 PM- Semiquincentennial dress contest on the west side of the courthouse.($10 per entry)

● 7 PM- Semiquincentennial Queen Contest on the west side of the courthouse.

● 7 PM- Webster County Fair (Rodeo)

Saturday, July 4:

● 8 AM- Concession and Craft Booths Open- Marshfield Square

● 9 AM- 2 PM- Webster County Museum Open (Free Admission)

● 9 AM- Lineup for the 147th Marshfield Independence Day Parade (Same lineup as last year)- Preregistration for parade entries through the Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce.

● 10 AM- 147th Independence Day Parade begins- ribbon cutting at the corner of Locust and East Washington.

● Immediately following the parade: Welcome, Patriotic music, greetings from Webster County Mayors and dignitaries, Reading of the Declaration of Independence-followed by the 3rd annual watermelon eating contest.

● 2:30 PM- Beard judging on the west side of the courthouse. Also, announce winners of the window decorating contest and other 250th contests.

● 2:30 PM- Children’s games on the east side of the courthouse.

● 3:30 PM- Turtle race for all ages on the east side of the courthouse.

● 7-9 PM- Street Dance on the east side of the courthouse (free event).

● 7 PM- Webster County Fair and Fireworks (Demolition Derby)

Sunday, July 5:

● 1-4 PM- Route 66 Tour Stop Open House (360 W. Hubble Drive)

● 1:45 PM- Flag ceremony by Boy and Girl Scout Troops.

● 2 PM- Gospel concert with Webster County groups.
