Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving! This year, we express our gratitude for the unwavering support from our community.

With the holidays upon is, we initiate another season of maintaining the wreath green, a prevention initiative aimed at preventing residential fires. A red bulb replaces a green one in the event of a residential fire.

To help keep the wreath green during the holiday season, please note the following safety reminders:
1. Regularly clean dryer and furnace filters.

2. Monitor your food while cooking and never leave the stove unattended.

3. Water your live trees regularly to prevent dryness and flammability.

4. Inspect extension cords and lights for damage before use.

5. Exercise caution with space heaters, ensuring a 3ft radius clearance.

Let's maintain the wreath green from November 28th to January 1st!

Wishing you all a safe and happy holiday season from all of us at the Town of Rock Fire and Rescue.

YIELD to pedestrians and bicyclists in designated crosswalks

LOOK both ways before crossing traffic areas

BE AWARE of the weight of the students backpacks, excess weight causes the backpack to not fit properly and can lead to long term injuries
