Let’s Welcome Marshfield’s New Teachers — And Introduce Them to YOUR Business!


The Marshfield School District is gearing up to welcome 35 new staff members—including teachers and paraprofessionals. As these educators begin a new chapter, some may also be brand-new to our town. What better way to make them feel at home than with a thoughtful welcome from our business community?
The Marshfield Chamber of Commerce is assembling Welcome Bags to greet each new staff member—and we'd love to include something from your business! This is an excellent opportunity to not only welcome these new educators, but also introduce your products or services to potential new residents.
🎁 We ask participating businesses to donate 35 of the same item, one for each Welcome Bag.
📦 Suggested items include:
• A small gift or useful item
• Branded swag
• A gift card or special promotion
• Information about your business
📅 Deadline - Friday, July 31st

Whether it's a pen, a mug, a discount card, or something else, your contribution helps make these new educators feel warm and welcomed from day one. Your participation helps ensure these educators feel valued and supported as they begin their important work with our students.

Online Registration is now open for all returning students and must be completed by August 12th.

Summer school may be over, but we're still smiling about the memories! Our Starstruck class had an amazing day exploring KOLR-10! Students toured the newsroom, recording studio, and control room, watched a live news broadcast, met news personalities and meteorologists, and even checked out the Storm Tracker vehicle. The day wrapped up with lunch at the park and, of course, a well-earned stop at Pineapple Whip. What a fun way to learn and make lasting memories!

Congratulations to our Outdoor Adventures Summer School Triathlon Champions! These Blue Jays put their determination, endurance, and positive attitude on full display as they competed in this exciting summer challenge. From start to finish, they gave it their all and showed what it means to work hard and have fun along the way! Way to go, champions!

Bravo to our Starstruck summer school students for putting on two fantastic Reader's Theater performances!

Incoming 5th and 6th graders entertained their summer school peers with three hilarious fractured fairy tales:
Cinder-really
Not-Rumplestilskin
Little Red Boxer Shorts

To make the performances even more special, students brought or created all of their own props! It was a wonderful showcase of creativity, teamwork, and confidence on stage. Great job, Blue Jays!
