June 15th marks World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD)

a time dedicated to raising awareness about elder abuse and abuse in later life while promoting the importance of safety, dignity, and respect for older adults in our communities. This year, organizations across the country, including NCALL, are using WEAAD as an opportunity not only to educate the public about the realities of elder abuse but also to strengthen community connections and expand support networks dedicated to prevention and advocacy.

Personal Development Center, Inc. supports these efforts by helping raise awareness, sharing educational resources, and encouraging our community to engage in conversations that protect and empower older adults. Together, we can continue building communities where individuals of all ages feel safe, valued, and supported.

💜 PDC COMMUNITY NEEDS 💜

Personal Development Center, Inc. (PDC Orenda Center) is currently seeking a few donated items to support the individuals and families we serve.

At this time, we are in need of:

🛏️ 3–4 Queen Size Box Springs
(Please — box springs only, no mattresses. Must be in good condition.)

🛋️ A Pullout Couch
(In good, clean condition.)

📱 Old Cell Phones
(WiFi compatible phones that can still connect to apps/internet.)
