With the governments lapse in funding the Webster County USDA service center is closed until further notice. SWCD will be working outside the office. For any drill or cost share information please call or text.

🌳🐂Meet the Staff: 👩🏼‍🌾

My name is Stephanie Essary, I live in northern Webster county on our hobby farm with my husband and kiddos. I have worked for SWCD for 2 1/2 years and I love it here. I have learned a lot myself, just about different cost share programs and what resources are available to landowner. I enjoy the customer service part of my job, and getting to know the landowner in our area.

🌳🐂MEET THE STAFF: 👩🏼‍🌾

Hi there, my name is Jody Wade, I am a Webster county resident and a Webster county cattle producer. I live on my family farm with my husband and kids, raising beef cattle and raising Akaushi Japanese Wagyu cattle for meat sales. I have enjoyed working for SWCD for over 12 years and getting to know so many landowners and producers in our great county. I truly enjoy helping design rotational grazing systems, helping implement stream bank stabilization projects, protecting our drinking water sources and preserving our farm ground from erosion. My newest passion is our Animal Waste practices, and helping add beef feeding facilities to farms to capture the manure and manage its impacts on our farms. My passion is customer service, helping our landowners be successful and have healthy land, animals and water supply. If you have been living in our area for many years or just moved here, please stop by the office and visit with us and see what we can do to help.

Drill #1 is a 10ft Haybuster drill. With a warm season grass box.
Drill #2 is a 7ft Haybuster drill, with a warm season grass box.
Drill #3 is a 10ft Haybuster Drill.

Cost of rentals is $150 minimum. $10 an acre after 15 acres.

2025 Annual Dinner. We had a great night. Thank you to the Webster County board members, the speakers Gene with the National Weather Service and Michael Malone an engineer for stream bank stabilizations.
Fordlands Art Teacher Marry Morris for letting her 5th Graders participate in the Poster Contest. Sheila’s Place for the great Cashew Chicken. Thank you to Deans Excavating for the donation for a door prize.

Also we would like to recognize Phillip and Bailey Archer as the cooperator of the year for putting conservation practice on the ground.


We are already looking forward to next years annual dinner.
