Severe weather is once again in the forecast for Friday night. As a result, Forest Hills High School, Marvin Ridge High School and Piedmont High School have moved their football games to Thursday night.

A Few Reminders, Yellow Jackets!

Tomorrow is the BIG DAY! We can’t wait to welcome our Yellow Jackets back to The Hills for the 2026–2027 school year!

🐝 Doors open at 8:00 AM. Students will report directly to the cafeteria. Staff members will be stationed at the front tables to help remind students of their homeroom assignments.

🐝 All students will receive a NEW schedule in homeroom. Be sure to follow the schedule you receive tomorrow!

🐝 Complete your online forms! Make sure your forms are completed so you can receive your Chromebook tomorrow. 💻

🐝 Get some rest, bring your Jacket pride, and get ready for an EXCITING 2026–2027 school year!

From the moment the alarms went off this morning to the final minutes of Open House, a few of our staff took you along for the ride! 📸

We challenged our Yellow Jacket staff to snap one picture every hour leading up to Open House—and they understood the assignment! 😂

You may notice the pictures slowed down once Open House started… and we think that’s a pretty good sign. Our staff was too busy meeting students, catching up with families, giving tours, answering questions, and enjoying having our halls full again! 🐝

Today was a LONG one, but seeing our Jacket Nation back in the building made every minute worth it. 🖤💛

The countdown is officially ON. We’ll see you soon, Yellow Jackets!

Mr Atkins has been in education for 30 years doing all different things and in multiple states. He has 2 sons who served in the Air Force and currently work in Savannah at Gulf Stream building jets. Mr Atkins has a dog, Zeus and 4 chickens. He enjoys spending most of his out of school time officiating high school sports. We are excited to welcome him to the Jacket Team!!
