The city has paving crews working in town. Please refrain from parking on the following streets and parking lots until paving crews are done. Brookside, Country View Lane, North end of Hiawatha, N. 5th Street, Rusche park lot, Depot Street, S. Two Street, S. Three Street, Five Street, Charrette parking lot, Philly’s parking lot, Lichtenberg parking lot, in the main city park lot and W. Main Street.

We appreciate your patience while the city makes these improvements for the citizens.

**👀Just a reminder that your town (Marthasville community club, city hall, chamber of commerce, St. Paul’s church & American legion) are all coming TOGETHER to put on a FREE & FUN COMMUNITY event for YOU this Friday July 3rd! Fireworks, LIVE MUSIC, face painting & bounce houses!! This will be an ANNUAL EVENT on the 3rd every year and ALL PROCEEDS from the concession stands will be going towards next years event. We have all volunteers working this to bring in as much as we can to make next year even BIGGER & BETTER! So please come hungry and thirsty ;)**👀 SEE YOU AT THE BALL PARK!

The City of Marthasville is happy to announce that they have awarded a new trash contract to Grace Hauling starting June 1st. Grace Hauling will be distributing replacement carts (95 Gallon) starting on Thursday, May 21st. You will receive the same number of carts that you currently have. Trash pick-up day will remain on Wednesday. Meridian Waste will be collecting their trash carts starting on Thursday, May 28th. Set your carts out to the curb to have them ready for pick up. Please have patience as this may take several days to get all the carts collected. Seniors (age 60 and older) are still eligible for $1.00 off trash service. You can sign up for this at City Hall. We appreciate your cooperation during this transition period. Thank you, City of Marthasville

The streets of Marthasville are scheduled to be swept on Monday, April 27th.

There will be NO parking allowed on the streets between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM that day. The more vehicles off the streets, the better the job can be done.

CITY OF MARTHASVILLE BULK TRASH DAY IS MONDAY, MAY 18TH!!!

ITEMS APPROVED:
Household appliances, BBQ grill (remove tank), bathtub (cut in half), bed frame, bookshelf, box spring, carpet (cut to 4ft sections, rolled and tied-MAXIUM 10 rolls),chairs or recliner, furniture, hutch, ladder (4ft or less), rugs, mattress, patio furniture sink, TV (flat screen or tube 32" or less), toilet, weight bench, wheelbarrow or anything two men can possibly lift-per contract

ITEMS NOT APPROVED:
Treated wood, batteries, boats, bricks, camper shells, computers, concrete, fluorescent lights, garage doors, construction and demolition debris waste, compressed gas cylinders, large engine parts, small engines containing oils or fuels, chemicals, large glass panes, hazardous waste, biomedical waste, tires, paints, paint solvents, non-empty aerosol cans, ping pong or pool tables, railroad ties, roofing, satellite dishes, shopping carts, solar panels, trailers, transmissions, any yard waste including, but not exclusive of, large tree debris, stumps, ammunition of any type, dead animals larger than 10 pounds, fi****ms, as well as any type of waste of which acceptance and handling by contractor would cause a violation or any permit condition, legal or regulatory requirement, substantial damage to our equipment or facilities or present damage to the health and safety of our employees.

Standard household waste is not collected during Bulk Trash Day. Any cans, bags or small trash will be left at the curb.
