We are calling on all union members and allies to boycott REI from May 15–25 in support of workers fighting for a fair contract.

After years of negotiations, REI has refused to move off a rejected proposal. Workers are asking the broader labor movement to stand with them by withholding our dollars and showing that customers care about how workers are treated.

Take the pledge here: https://www.ourrei.com/boycott

You can also support by joining leafleting actions at the Berkeley store and spreading the word in your community.

Contact Joe at [email protected] for more information.

Solidarity matters—this is how we win.

After the 2023 furnace fire that nearly killed our brother Jerome Serrano, Contra Costa County commissioned an independent safety assessment of Marathon’s Martinez facility. The result: 65% — below industry benchmarks. Understaffing was identified as the root cause.Workers have been saying this for years. They’re still saying it from the picket line.

It has been just under a year since REI workers defeated REI’s coop board candidates with their vote no campaign, showing the company that coop members stand with unionized workers. After months of national negotiations and compromise on the side of the union, they still have no contract and are now mobilizing for a boycott during the upcoming anniversary sale May 15-25 - the biggest sale of the year - and they need your help.

No retreat, no surrender when it comes to workers at Marathon Refinery in Concord/Martinez! Thank you to all our union siblings that came out today and walked the line. And thank you to all the community members and elected officials who also joined the Steelworkers in their fight.

is out on the strike line 24/7. Stop by any time to show them support and we will be hosting Solidarity Monday, EVERY MONDAY, until the workers have a fair deal!
