Judge Ayana K Young has demonstrated incompetence in applying the law, repeatedly violating constitutional rights and due process protections. She has deprived parents of their fundamental rights to family association and equal access to justice, showing retaliation toward self-represented litigants and those who appeal or file writs challenging her rulings. Judge Ayana K Young has failed to grant equitable relief or provide accommodations for individuals with medical conditions, while refusing to recuse herself in matters involving clear conflicts of interest. Judge Young frequently exhibits bias and unprofessional conduct, especially when no court reporter is present, and has engaged in prejudgment of cases, fabricating findings unsupported by evidence. Her courtroom practices discriminate against active and good parents in favor of abusive or manipulative parties, granting them greater power and control. Judge Young’s actions have destroyed family units, endangered children’s safety, and caused emotional trauma by placing minors in harmful environments. By disregarding the rule of law, manufacturing facts, and acting as an advocate instead of an impartial adjudicator, Judge Young has undermined public confidence in the judiciary and violated the ethical duties required of her office. The people of Contra Costa County deserve fair, impartial, and competent judicial leadership.

As part of the public, we can not trust Ayana K. Young to operate with honesty and integrity. It turns out she has a conflict of interest regarding the case with Mr. Summerville. She has a personal relationship with the opposing party best friend. Mr. Summerville tried to have her removed from the case but it was denied and she has not stepped down due to her conflict of interest that was disclosed in January of 2025. Consequently, Mr. Summerville strongly believes that Judge Ayana K. Young knows Sivanh Viengvilay personally as well. This explains her ruling against Mr. Summerville 100% of the time, placing him on supervised visitation, removing all of his legal and custody rights, destroying his relationship with his children by allowing him only 2 days a month, not allowing him to have access to his children's medical and education records, manipulation of court records, threat of arrest, threat of foster care for the children, and much more. By talking to Mr. Summerville he also believe Ayana K Young deliberately had to reduce his time with his children in order for him to pay child support. Child support is decided on many factors. However, since the mother makes more money as a RN, he will be owed child support. Since Ayana K. Young reduce his time to 24 days a year, he will have to pay child support. This goes against Family Code Section 3020 of frequent and continuous contact between both parents. It is his belief that they (Ayana K Young and Sivanh Viengvilay) are looking to destroy him emotionally and financially and destroy children that are in high school. Mr. Summerville son who is 15 years old testify to his mother's abuse and stated on the record that he wants to live with his father. Ayana K Young force him to live with his mother who has caused him anxiety and depression. Also, she has forced his children to attend therapy to have coping skills to deal with their mother's abusive behavior. Ayana K. Young makes a huge assumption and law regarding Mr. Kaazim Summerville stating that Ms. Sivanh Viengvilay is the stricter parent and her actions are not considered abuse. When a child has to go to therapy for depression and anxiety caused by their mother, then that definition is called "strict" not abuse. When a child has to rely on themselves for help, then that is called strict parenting. When the child's mother Sivanh Viengvilay admitted to going to anger management through CPS, then that is called "strict." No, this is called judicial bias and prejudiced and a disregard for the law putting children in an abusive environment because she knows Ms. Sivanh Viengvilay. A violation of Pillar V - Professional Distance and Pillar VI - Honesty and Integrity. Mr. Kaazim Summerville doesn't have any rights to his children because Ayana K Young removed them and gave all rights to his children to Ms. Sivanh Viengvilay her friend.

For 4 years Mr. Kaazim Summerville has been struggling with Kidney Disease and pleading Contra Costa County Courts to see his children from a bitter and toxic Ex that he left 10 years ago. Since judge Ayana K. Young has a relationship with the children mother, Sivanh Viengvilay, she purposely removed all rights to his children and gave him 2 days a month falsely claiming that he violated court orders. Mr. Summerville didn't even have a trial for contempt of court. Not every father is a deadbeat, not every father is an abuser or use drugs and alcohol. Mr. Summerville has actively been a part of his children life and this video is proof of that. The emotional toll of having your children stripped away because judge Ayana K. Young "felt like it" is disheartening. Whatever preconceived biases that this judge has against active and good dads and mothers needs to stop. Judge Ayana K. Young is willing to violate all 8 Pillars of being a judge in order to show her power in the courtroom and it shouldn't be tolerated. Removing children from a loving Father and Mother for no good reasons than her personal beliefs and biases has no place in the courtroom. Help recall Ayana K. Young.

On February 2, 2024, Judge Ayana K. Young didn't enforce Family Code Section 3151 and California rule of court 5.242 regarding minor counsel. Minor counsel, Danielle Jones, purposely kept the minor child wishes from being heard to the court. Danielle Jones stated attorney client privilege. Clearly, minor counsel Danielle Jones was acting in bad faith. Mr. Summerville ask judge Ayana K Young to remove minor counsel but the judge kept her on the case. Mr. Summerville has been fighting for 4 years to see his children. The corruption by Ayana K Young needs to stop.
