The City of Martinsburg Housing Authority is back with our Annual Block Party & Resource Fair, and this year, it’s all about Community Resilience!

Last year, over 300 of our neighbors came together for an unforgettable afternoon. This year, we’re taking it a step further. Beyond the music and fun, we’re bringing together local tools, resources, and hands-on skill shares to help empower our community to thrive!

Date: Saturday, September 12, 2026
Time: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Location: Ambrose Park (25404 Mall Dr, Martinsburg, WV 25401)
Cost: FREE and open to all!
Theme: Community Resilience. Building the skills we need to get through tough times together!

What to Expect?
📘 The Resilience Passport: Pick up your official "Resilience Passport" (age 15+) at the entrance! Visit our community partner booths, watch short 3-5 minute skill-shares or health demos, and collect stamps along the way to build your personal resilience toolkit (plus earn raffle tickets to win special prizes!).

🎶 Live Musical Performances
🛠️ Resource Walkthroughs: Connect directly with local experts ready to support you and your family.
🚌 Free Transportation Available!

Need a ride? EPTA shuttles will be running free transportation to and from the event for residents at Adam Stephens, Stonewall Haven and Leeland Public Housing Communities.
No RSVP is required! Open to all!

🎉🎓Thank you Telamon Corporation of West Virginia for collaborating with the MHA to hold a fantastic back to school resource fair!

Over 48 families attended with 106 kiddos served!

Thanks to all the organizations that contributed their resources and labor! We love to bring resources to public housing residents at Adams Stephens homes in Martinsburg WC. Good luck with the upcoming school year! Glad we can help support students!

PS! If you are a resident of p***c housing or an HCV particiapants and were unable to make it out the MHA has extra backpacks to hand out! Please call our main office and we can get you a backpack and school supplies for your child! 😀🎒✏️
