Gertie finally came waddling in with her golden eggs to reward our classrooms for showing respect, grit, caring, and going above and beyond!

Students were excited to see if their class would be recognized as:

The golden eggs were filled with fun prizes for our deserving students!

Each week, Gertie will be keeping her eyes open for the next group of winners. Keep up the amazing work, Bluestreaks!

Creativity was in full swing in Miss Seaman’s 3rd grade classroom today!

Students were challenged to create their very own state! They designed and drew their state, created a flag, marked the capital, and added all kinds of creative details.

We love seeing our Bluestreaks use their imaginations while learning! Who knows…we may have some future cartographers, governors, or state planners in this group!

Calling all future MHS Cheerleaders!

The MHS Cheerleaders are excited to host the 2026 Football Spirit Sparklers Clinic! Participants will learn cheers, stunts, jumps, and a dance, then take the field to perform with the MHS Cheerleaders at a home football game!

Practice Dates:
September 23 | 3:00–4:30 PM
September 25 | 3:00–4:30 PM
Martinsville Elementary School

Performance:
September 26 | 6:00 PM
Martinsville High School Football Field

The $25 clinic fee includes a Spirit Sparklers shirt, a new bow, and the opportunity to perform with the MHS Cheerleaders!

Registration forms and payment are due by August 28.

Family and friends can also order matching Spirit Sparklers shirts! Additional shirts are $10 for sizes S–XL and $13 for 2XL–3XL.

We can't wait to see our future Bluestreak cheerleaders take the field!
