Pattonville Heights Middle School is home to a caring staff dedicated to helping students learn and belong. Our staff members challenge their students and set high expectations, while working hard to provide a safe, positive and academically rigorous environment for all students to learn. Pattonville Heights operates similar to a large middle school in offering many extracurricular activities for

students, but also has the advantage of being small enough for teachers to provide the individual attention for all students to succeed. The staff is professional, empathetic and well skilled in the methods and models in teaching the wide spectrum of students and the needs they bring to our building. Our students benefit from a building of staff, parents and volunteers who work together as a team. We enjoy collaborating to benefit and enhance our students’ emotional, physical and academic success. Our goals and action plans center on how they will benefit students. We embrace the diversity of our student body and strive to implement positive character- building activities throughout the year. Students are rewarded for academic, attendance, behavior and community service. Our goal is to prepare our students to learn what they need to succeed not only in their academic future, but in their future life experiences as well.

On Saturday May 9th, the Pattonville Heights Heart & Sole team participated in the spring Girls on the Run 5k! This event was the culmination of 8 weeks of hard work and effort for our team, and it was a wonderful morning. Over 160 teams and 3,300 girls grades 3-8 from all over the Greater St. Louis area participated in this event. We are so proud of our girls and had a blast running the race. Special thanks to the Heights teachers and staff who participated in the race and cheered on our girls. The Heights Rocks!

We are thrilled to announce that Pattonville Heights music educators Marie Brown, Carlye Feeney, and Liz Pace have been selected to perform in this year’s Extra Credit: On Stage concert with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra at Powell Hall on Friday, April 24th!

Extra Credit: On Stage shines a spotlight on the dedication and talent of school music educators. In this special performance, teachers take the stage alongside SLSO musicians to celebrate the powerful role they play in shaping the next generation of students. It is a wonderful opportunity to honor their impact and witness their artistry in a world-class venue.

This concert is free and open to the public. We invite the entire community to come out and celebrate the incredible educators who inspire our music students every single day! Tickets can be reserved at https://slso.org/event/slso-community-concert-extra-credit/.

Please join us in congratulating Marie, Carlye, and Liz on this well-deserved honor. We can’t wait to see them shine on stage!

Parents, we are excited to have you with us at The Heights tonight for Open House. It is a drop-in format from 6-8pm. That means you may come and visit any time between 6 and 8pm.

Due to construction, parking is limited. Please park in the lower lot near Fee Fee Rd on the right of the main drive, on the grass field on the left of the main drive, or in the bus slots marked by the white lines.

We look forward to meeting and seeing as many of you as possible. Don't forget you can register for our PTO and pick up a box of candy bars for our fundraiser.
