It's Friday Night's Uptown this week, and The Avalon Theatre is going to be a Sensory Friendly Space, once again!

Stop by for some popcorn, hang out in the AC, watch the concert streaming live on our big screen, and take a load off of your feet. We will have our concessions available for purchase, so come to The Avalon Theatre for part of your Friday Night!

The U.S. House is considering severe cuts to developmental disability programs in the upcoming federal budget (Fiscal Year 2027). If this happens, over 40,000 people in Ohio could lose important services that help them live safely and independently as soon as October 1.

In Ohio, programs at risk include:
• The Ohio State University Nisonger Center
• University of Cincinnati Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UC UCEDD)
• Disability Rights Ohio
These programs have existed for over 50 years and are critical to protecting rights and supporting community living.

What can you do?
