The Yuba County Library is ready for fall!
🪦Kicking off the spooky season will be a "Historic Marysville City Cemetery Book Talk" with local authors Phyllis E. Smith and Victoria M. Tudor on September 23rd at 10AM at the Yuba County Government Center. Learn about the influential and infamous characters that made Marysville their permanent home. Toys and Halloween themed crafts will be provided for young children who attend.
🎃On September 30th join us for "Story Time at the Pumpkin Patch" (Bishop's Pumpkin Farm). Drive out to Bishop's Pumpkin Farm and meet the library team in the prizewinning pumpkin fields (behind the train tracks) for music, stories, and a craft. (10AM-11:30AM)
🎃Return to Bishop's Pumpkin Farm on October 14th for "Story Time at the Pumpkin Patch", this time joined by Family SOUP. There will be music and movement; followed by a story and craft. (10AM-11:30AM)
🎃Our final "Story Time at the Pumpkin Patch" will take place on October 21st with Yuba County Health & Human Services (HHS). Meet at the entrance and HHS will take you on a tour of the pumpkin farm and share about pedestrian safety; followed by stories and a craft!
🕸️The Library will be holding their seventh annual Trick or Treat Event on October 30th from 2-4PM at the Yuba County Government Center. Connect to community agencies, have your photo taken with a special character, collect goodies, and more!
