We are resource and referral center for families and/or individuals who need emergency assistance or information regarding services and support available in the community.

If you know of parents who need help getting school supplies -- tell them to check with their school office. Salvation Army funds were used to purchase a sizeable quantity of school supplies and they are available in the office at each school.

We have many families struggling and in need right now. We are getting requests for small air conditioners, and lots of requests for furniture -- especially beds and dressers. If you have items to donate, please call 629-8300. We will pick up clean, useable items and deliver to families.

Lincoln Center is taking applications for a part-time custodian. Applicants must be able/willing to work one evening during the week, and one evening during the weekend. Apply at 405 North 4th in Marysville. Call 785-629-8300 for more info. Taking applications through July 22nd.

Plan to attend the Marshall County Fair July 16-19. Great family activities. Fire Safety Trailer on July 18th from 6 pm - 8:30 pm and Smart Start and Parents as Teachers have lots of fun activities planned -- come see us!

Donna Beegle, a nationally recognized expert on poverty and the impact it has on families will be in Marysville on September 12 for an all day conference. Watch for more information and plan to register.

Remember the Health Care planning meeting scheduled for Thursday, June 30th - 12:00 noon, Lincoln Center. Results of the phone survey will be shared with the group. See you then.
