Perfect weather to join your friends and walk to school TOMORROW!

TOMORROW (TUESDAY) IS WALK TO SCHOOL DAY!!!!
On the morning of October 13th, kids across the district will walk to school. Stretching their legs, as well as their brains, is important for a great school day.
A little physical activity in the morning leads to:
👟Better concentration in class
👟Students arrive feeling awake and ready to learn rather than sluggish from a car ride.
👟Releases endorphins that reduce anxiety, elevate mood, and calm the mind.
👟Teaches street safety, traffic rules, and basic neighborhood navigation.
👟Builds a sense of independence and responsibility, especially when walking with peers or in a "walking school bus".
Hope to see you Tuesday morning!

Remember, this is the last week to shop. We will be open during Library UA and conference night!

Is it just me, or are these book fair cashiers a little shorter than usual? And maybe even a tiny bit cuter too 🤭

Congrats to these top color run earners who got to help us kick off Navin’s Scholastic Book Fair while their classes shopped today!

Nielsen AM, Hahn, Doty, and Merendo all shop during UA tomorrow.
