Update 8/10/26 at 2:45 pm: Crews are on scene to assist with the closure of SR 49 between Borland Ave/Lincoln Way in Auburn and the SR 193 junction in Cool. No detour is available and no estimated time of reopening.

Lanes blocked both directions along SR 49 near Quarry Road in El Dorado County due to an overturned big rig. Crews are en route to assist with the closure. No ETO.
