Research continues to show that involved fathers help children build confidence, language skills, emotional security, and healthy development from the very beginning.

While many parenting classes are designed primarily with moms in mind, Dad Skills Camp is all about dads.

You'll be surrounded by other expectant and new fathers who are asking the same questions, building the same skills, and preparing for the same incredible journey. It's a chance to learn together, gain confidence, and discover just how important your role is from day one.

Save the Date for the 3rd Annual Baby Expo hosted by the Delaware County Breastfeeding Coalition!

Saturday, August 8th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Delaware Public Health District

This free community event for expecting parents, new families, and caregivers will feature vendors, raffles, food, prizes, diapers, car seats, and valuable resources.

Attendees can learn about:
• Car seat safety demonstrations
• Infant CPR
• Breastfeeding education and lactation support
• WIC services
• Developmental disability resources
• Help Me Grow information
• Physical therapy providers
• OB-GYN services

Language interpretation will be available.

Be sure to stop by the DCBDD table to learn more about services and supports available to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families!

We're excited to be partnering with our local first responders to combine our Annual Back to School Bash with National Night Out! Join us on Tuesday, August 4th from 6-8pm at the Mt. Sterling Community Center for a night filled with fun for all and resources to help prepare for the school year ahead.
