Fun Time at the Block Party on Winthrop Lane

Deputy Reinhold had a blast Saturday at the Block Party on Winthrop Lane!
Between the cookout, the bounce house (which he quickly discovered he was too tall for), and testing out a bubble blaster, it was a great afternoon spent with some great residents.
A big thank you to the residents on Winthrop Lane for the invitation, the hospitality, and making it such a fun community event. We always enjoy an opportunity to connect with the people we serve. This Block Party certainly didn't disappoint!

Great Day at the Pond!

on Saturday, we were excited to welcome so many young anglers and their families for a day of fishing at our Union County Sheriff's Office Training Facility.

The smiles, excitement, and stories shared along the pond made this event a tremendous success. Congratulations to all of our winners ranging from 14 inch Bass to 10.25 inch Bluegill for the day.

We would like to extend a THANK YOU to our partners, Brian Motsinger, our local ODNR Officer, for supplying the worms and fishing poles to be used on Saturday. We would like to THANK our Marysville Rural King and J&J Trading Post of Richwood, for donating the prizes for our contests winners. and lastly, a special THANK YOU to our deputies, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this event possible. With such an overwhelming response from the community we are already looking forward to future opportunities to get our kids outdoors and fishing with law enforcement.

Special Visitor at the Jerome Twp Community Car Show

Brutus Buckeye stopped to visit with Sgt. Golden and check out the MRAP (our armored vehicle) used by our SRT Team. Rumor has it he was hoping to get a high-five from Sheriff Justice!
This annual Community Car Show is always a great opportunity to connected with our Jerome Township community. We are honored to be a part of it each year. Proceeds from the event benefit The Fallen 15, an organization dedicated to honoring fallen service members and support veterans and their families.
