📢 Hey Marysville Parents! Is your middle schooler ready to stay home safe this summer? 🏡✨

Introducing S.H.A.R.K. (Safe Homes And Responsible Kids)—a basic home safety course designed specifically for kids in 6th through 8th grade!

Presented by theMarysville Fire Division in conjunction with the Ohio State University Family and Consumer Science Extension, this workshop will set your child up with the vital life skills they need to navigate being home alone confidently.

Trained professionals will be teaching courses in:

🩺 Basic First Aid & Nutrition

🌐 Social Media / Internet Safety

🚪 Home & Public Safety

⚡ Weather, Fire, and Electrical Safety

🗓️ The Details:

Congratulations to our amazing participants who completed the Circle of Security Parenting Program! 🎉💙

Over the course of this program, these caregivers learned how to better understand their children’s emotional needs, strengthen secure attachments, recognize cues and behaviors, and respond with empathy, confidence, and connection. Through meaningful conversations and self-reflection, participants explored ways to create safe, supportive relationships that help children feel seen, understood, and valued.

We are incredibly proud of each of you for taking the time to grow in your parenting journey. Your willingness to learn, reflect, and invest in your families shows tremendous dedication and love. The work you’ve done will have a lasting impact not only on your children, but on generations to come.
