Let me say first and foremost: We understand your pain, your anger, and your outrage. We feel it just as deeply as any of you. But the protests at their facilities and hotels, the following them around, the filming—it has to stop.

Why? Because it plays directly into their hands. You are doing exactly what they want, giving them the justification to escalate. And remember, roughly 20–30% of our fellow citizens agree with them and want that escalation. They want it to reach the point of mass detentions.

He has already said he wants to arrest and deport U.S. citizens he deems “bad people.” The courts move too slowly to stop him. We know they are hiring the worst of the worst, and many of these people are military or law-enforcement trained—at least when it comes to intimidation and use of force. They have the numbers. They have the firepower. And they will use it.

They do not see you as fellow citizens. They see you as the enemy. The rule of law means nothing to them if it stands in the way of their goals. In their eyes, the more people they crush, the better—because fear leads to compliance.

The only protests that can be effective without immediate repercussions are massive, overwhelming demonstrations—NO KINGS–style actions where there are simply too many people to confront. And even then, they may eventually use those protests as an excuse to impose some form of martial law.

The time for clever social media burns and viral comments has passed. It accomplishes nothing. What we need to focus on now is voter registration and voter turnout.

We must win by margins so large they cannot credibly claim fraud. We need concrete plans to protect voting locations and ballot drop boxes. We need strategies to stop armed groups from seizing ballots from state and county agencies under the pretense of “election security.”

So again—do something that creates real, long-term change:

Join or start a voter registration drive.

Join a group that helps transport people to ballot drop-offs or to the polls.

Ask your city, county, and state officials: What is the plan to secure ballots if armed fed agents attempt to take them?

That is where the fight is now.

We want to make this crystal clear if you make a claim on this page you have to bring the evidence to back it up. It is the only way to actually have a serious discussion on an issue. So it is imperative it is grounded in evidence.

Another Day, Another Mailer Full of Misinformation
Yet again, another campaign mailer has arrived — and once again, it’s filled with misleading claims.

Mr. Hoffman’s own website states that “he and his family moved from Marysville to the historic district of Snohomish.” That means he is not a lifelong resident.
As for his record of community service, the only example listed on his website is that he served as a PE coach at his children’s school. We do not think that really qualifies.

And take a close look at who’s funding this ad — once again, it’s the Master Builders of Snohomish and King County. Their Political Action Committee (PAC) calls itself the “Affordable Housing Council.” But ask yourself this: when has a developer or contractor ever said, “I want to make less money so homes are more affordable”?

We've seen a lot of different mailers — all funded by wealthy individuals connected to the housing industry. All full of misinformation. Most attack Mayor Redmon, One supports Hoffman, and another supports Deol. It’s hard to ignore the pattern: they seem to believe they can buy this election — both for Mayor and City Council. And do it through deceit. The question is: will you let them? And what do you think they expect in return? PACs don’t spend tens of thousands of dollars without an agenda — and so far, over $30,000 has been poured into just two of the five races.

People often ask us, “What about the other candidates?”
We’ve reviewed the required PDC filings for all incumbents. None of them have accepted a single dollar in PAC money. Mayor Redmon has received small contributions from Democratic organizations, but they are minimal compared to what Hoffman has received from Big Money housing industry folks.

In terms of independent expenditures, Redmon has had $55.97 spent in support of her — yes, you read that right — and $8,000 spent against her (funding one of the attack mailers). Hoffman has 10,000 in support of him. So add that up that is 18,000 alone trying to elect Hoffman.

We’re sometimes accused of being biased or only criticizing one side. But here’s the truth: this organization was created because of the flood of misinformation we saw circulating — and all of it came from the challengers. For example, HOFFMAN, DEOL, JACOBS, GAITAN, AND MARRS repeatedly claimed the Civic Center cost $70-73 million, when the actual figure has been $54 million since April. All five challengers included the false number on their websites or social media, and discussed it publicly. (See previous post on this page with all the links.)

Linda Redmon, Tom Merrill, Karen Guzak, David Flynn, and Bill Webster are honorable people. You may not agree with every position they take, you may think they are wrong about the timing of the Civic Complex or think 54 million is too much but base your opinions and stances on truth not the misinformation being spread around like butter. We found no evidence that any of them have spread misinformation. If we had we would have posted about it. This is not about conservative or liberal, left or right, this is about honesty, integrity and ethics.

We encourage you to do two things:
Visit our website to compare candidates side by side — review their experience and endorsements.

So we want to take a moment to cover some things that we think are very important. 1st some basic definitions.

1) Opinion - An opinion is a statement that expresses a belief, idea, or emotion that is not provable. Opinions are subjective, meaning the veracity depends on the person's own perception rather than an objective truth. The validity of opinions cannot be proven one way or another but only expressed and defended.

Example. I think that the cost of that project is going to skyrocket out of control

2) Fact -is a piece of information that is verifiable and objectively true, based on evidence and observation rather than belief or opinion
Example. The city spent $3.6M to buy the land for the project and it is paid in full.

3) Rumor- a currently circulating story or report of uncertain truth.

Example- I talked someone who knows the owner and they said that they had to sign an NDA.

This organization does not deal in Rumors at all. As far as opinions go we may offer our assessment after and only after we have thoroughly investigated the situation and have made all of that available to you here in the way of fact based evidence. In other words if we give an opinion at all it will be based off of the evidence we presented.

Example: Based on the evidence we believe that either the candidate is out of touch or is deliberately misleading people to gain votes.

And we expect the same standards from our followers. We have already deleted comments that were presented as FACTS but when the author was asked for evidence to support their claims they could not produce any. We do not do misinformation here. That is why every post we have made has links, screenshots, images. So that you the reader can go see for yourself and verify the information we presented.

You may not like what you read here. You make think we have a bias. But we can assure you anyone dealing in misinformation, half truths, or out right lies whether on the left or the right we will bring it to the light and we will do so with evidence. We have found more questionable dealings that are indirectly related to our previous offerings . We will be posting those in the coming days.

The Union and the City — Setting the Record Straight

At the October 21st council meeting, after city workers spoke about the pension trust fund City Administrator Heather Thomas Murphy set the record straight on employee pensions, the problems with the union pension Fund, and the benefits of the alternate. It should be noted that Mr. Hoffman was at this council meeting and heard all of this.

The Current Pension & PERS
All City employees already receive a state-funded pension (PERS). The union pension is an additional fund created only two years ago. (1)
Employees contribute $1.25 per hour ($10 per day, $50 per week), but the contribution isn’t optional or portable you can’t take it if you leave. Some have expressed concern about the burden of this amount coming out of their checks. (1)

Contribution rates can increase by a majority vote of member employees, giving individual employees little control. (1)

To be vested in this fund takes 5 years of employment. (1)

The union manages the fund and benefit from continued contributions; note that the national organization of this union fund required a bailout in 2022. (2)

The City’s Proposed Alternative: Deferred Compensation Program (DCP)
Immediate vesting (no 5-year wait).

City match of up to $120 per month.

Fully portable—employees keep it if they leave.

City will add extra contributions to offset the end of the fund. So employees lose nothing.

Employees choose their own contribution level (minimum $30/month). (1) (3)

We know there is a lot of spin and misinformation out there from challengers to the current council and administration but these are the facts backed up by evidence below.

Political violence is rising across America. When bullets replace words, democracy dies.

We have an urgent choice to make: Fight against fellow Americans, or fight FOR America.

On Nov. 6, thousands of Americans will gather online for the National Roundtable on Political Violence, hosted by Newsweek and AllSides.

It’s not about pretending our differences don’t matter, but about having hard conversations to spur positive action. Meet and discuss with your political opposites, in small groups of 4–6, to make a statement: America can still talk to each other.

The Truth About the New Civic Complex & the Misleading Mailer

Until very recently Mr. Hoffman and all four council challengers — Marrs, Deol, Jacobs, and Gaitan — were citing a $73 million price tag for the Civic Complex. However, that number hasn’t been accurate since April 15, 2025, when revised plans were presented to the council showing a total cost of $42 million-54mill depending on how they proceed in phases. (1) (2)

So either they’ve been out of touch for months, or they’re deliberately misleading voters — and possibly coordinating their message. Either scenario is deeply concerning. Even former Mayor Kartak has repeated outdated figures. (image 1)

Now, in his mailer, Mr. Hoffman has shifted tactics. He’s using “creative math” to push the number to $60 million and then using scare tactics to warn of tens of millions more, calling other figures “inflated” and “hypothetical” — when, in fact, those words best describe his own numbers, which appear to have been pulled from thin air. He also fails to tell you that some of the cost has been & will be paid for by grants while other funding will come from the sale of properties. Moreover he fails to mention that they have slowed the project down to allow time for these funding sources to come to fruition. (image 2)

Here are the facts:
Public Works must relocate, and doing so separately could cost about $26.2 million at a site in the Three Lakes area. Some have talked about a site on Bonneville but that property has easement issues and is not big enough. (3)

Maintaining the current City Hall and Police Station and other dated facilities could cost millions more. A report by MENG Analysis identified over $37 million in deficiencies across all facilities that would need to be addressed between 2023-2042. The City estimates 12.9 million of that has to be done in the next 5-10 years.
That’s $38–39 million spent — and you’d still be left with outdated, inadequate facilities. (3)

Alternatively, investing $54 million in the new Civic Complex provides modern, functional facilities that will serve the community for 50+ years, without raising taxes. (See the linked project PDF for details.)
Finally, the challengers — Marrs, Deol, Jacobs, and Gaitan — have echoed nearly identical talking points to Hoffman. This raises real concerns about whether they’d act independently or simply rubber-stamp his agenda — much like Congress has with the current administration. (2) (4)

So Let's Talk about the Snohomish Pride event.

1)Did you know that during the event in 2024 the sales on 1st Street broke records? (SS1-SS3) Source: January 2025 city council meeting 2024 HDSA Annual report. June 2025 city council meeting HDSA mid year update presentation.

2)Are you aware that Snohomish's current Mayor Linda Redmon, who believes in representing all the people, is fully supportive of Snohomish Pride? (SS4)

3) Are you also aware that Candidate Hoffman has been elusive with his answers concerning the LGBTQ community and has never directly answered whether he would leave the pride event alone. (SS5)

4) Moreover, Candidate Hoffman is supported by those who openly discriminate against the pride event and the LGBTQ community. At least two of these organizations seem to be fully on board with Trump and his agenda. With the last being the pastor of Pursuit who was involved in the Mayday Anti-LGBTQ Event and the Rattle in Seattle a few days later. Him and his wife have both donated to Hoffman's campaign. (SS6-SS13) See the link for an article about the Mayday event and the Rattle in Seattle.

Please share your thoughts on this topic but stay on topic and if you make a claim provide evidence as we did.
