SHAPE America is hosting three free, expert-led webinars on Health Education and Media Literacy this spring. These sessions are designed to give parents practical tools and insights to support their child’s health and well-being. Families can join live from home- just register and tune in from any device. We hope you’ll take advantage of this opportunity to hear from national experts, learn more about the Beyond the Check-In project and resources, and strengthen your child’s success at school and beyond!

Register now for Raising Healthy Humans: A Parent & Educator Guide to Health Education on May 26th at 6:00 p.m. ET - https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/Z3F5lc7wSgObwu4DhRzUeQ #/registration

Today’s health education looks very different from when we were in school. Instead of just memorizing facts, students are learning real-life skills they can use every day to make healthy choices. In this webinar, we’ll walk you through how K–12 health education has evolved and what your child is actually learning in the classroom. You’ll also be introduced to a simple, helpful tool that explains the goals of health education—and how those goals help students build the knowledge, confidence, and skills they need to stay healthy for life.

Raising Tech Ready Kids: A Practical Guide to Media Literacy at Home on June 5th at 6:00 p.m. ET - https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/giA3RieoTc-ubrhjFP_x8A #/registration

This webinar will help families navigate today’s digital world with greater confidence. Participants will learn practical strategies for helping children think critically about online content, build healthy technology habits, and safely engage with social media, news, and digital platforms in everyday life.
