Today, our students enjoyed an up-close look at careers in the beauty industry as we welcomed Tennessee School of Beauty to MJHS!

Huge thanks to Brooklyn McMillian for bringing so much energy and enthusiasm to our Lunch & Learn! Brooklyn shared products of the trade, informational materials, and insight into the many educational and career opportunities available through Tennessee School of Beauty. Experiences like these help our students see possibilities, explore interests, and connect what they are learning today to their future careers.

The Smoky Mountain Heritage Center brought history to life at MJHS with an unforgettable, hands-on experience! Jenn and Trevor captivated our students, introducing them to Old World toys and traditional coffee-making techniques.

Students didn’t just learn about history; they experienced it! After an engaging demonstration, students had an opportunity to try the toys for themselves and help with the coffee-grinding process. A huge thank-you to Jenn and Trevor for creating such an engaging experience for our students!
