Calling all Future Founders!

Youth entrepreneurs ages 18 and under are invited to showcase their ideas and creations at the inaugural CEC Future Founders Market.

The CEC Future Founders Market reflects the mission of the Connecting Entrepreneurial Communities Conference: strengthening entrepreneurial ecosystems and creating pathways for economic vitality in rural communities. By providing young people with a professional venue to showcase their ideas, engage with customers, and connect with business and community leaders, the market helps cultivate the future entrepreneurs who will shape our communities for years to come.

And the community is invited to come shop, cheer them on, and support the next generation of entrepreneurs!

We’re excited to welcome The Pub's Stampede the Ville to the downtown pavilion and love seeing this new space put to work for another great community event!

A quick heads-up for our Downtown Maryville Market vendors and shoppers: parking may be more limited this Saturday as crews prepare for Stampede the Ville and event activities get underway.

Please plan ahead, allow yourself a little extra time, and be patient and accommodating as we welcome even more people to downtown Maryville.

Wondering where everyone is on Saturday mornings? They are at the Downtown Maryville Market, of course!
The participation at the new pavilion has been nothing short of amazing! In its first two weeks, the market has welcomed more than 40 vendors and 750+ patrons each Saturday!

Downtown Maryville is proud to launch a new initiative honoring the men and women who have served—or are currently serving—in the United States Armed Forces.

Through the Veterans Banner Program, individuals, families, organizations, and businesses can sponsor a double-sided, red, white, and blue banner featuring a veteran or active-duty service member. Each 23” x 40” banner will be hung around the courthouse square and include a military photo, name, branch of service, and other service information.

- Only 28 banners are available!
- Honorees must have resided in Maryville or Nodaway County
- Sponsorship is $250 for two years (2026 and 2027)
- Only one veteran per banner

Banners are available for purchase until August 28, or until all available banners have been claimed.

Banners purchased this year will be installed in October and remain up through Veterans Day.

Interested in honoring a veteran or active-duty service member? Complete the registration form at the link below, and Downtown Maryville will contact individuals regarding payment. With only 28 banners available, space is limited, so act quickly.

We know everyone is loving the new pavilion and parking lot, but here's a quick reminder that the lot will close each Saturday from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the Downtown Maryville Market. For market customer safety, vehicles left in the lot during this time will not be able to leave the lot until the market is over.

The Downtown Maryville Market is MOVING!

We’re excited to announce that the market is moving to its new home in the downtown pavilion on North Main Street on Saturday, August 15th!

This new spot means a fresh new chapter for market days downtown—but you can still count on the local vendors, fresh finds, handmade goods, tasty treats, and friendly faces that make the Downtown Maryville Market so much fun.

PATRONS: As we make the transition to our new home, Main Street will be closed between 4th and 5th Streets. Please plan accordingly when heading downtown, and thank you for your patience as everyone gets used to the new setup!

VENDORS: Keep an eye out! We’ll be sharing more information soon about vendor setup and how market days will work at the new Pavilion.
