Nothing more humbling than being sworn in today to serve on the Blount County Commission.

I’m looking forward to working with everyone to ensure a bright future for Blount County and, most importantly, representing the great people of District 3.

I am truly grateful for the trust you have placed in me, and I will never take this opportunity to serve for granted. It’s time to get to work!

I appreciate everyone who took the time to vote for me. Even though I was uncontested, the people of District 3 still went to the polls and pressed that button, and for that I am truly grateful.

As we have seen, there are many challenges facing our district and our county. Meeting those challenges will require all of us working together and ensuring that the people always come first.

I do not take this honor lightly. I am sincerely humbled by the trust you have placed in me, and I can assure you of this: I will always answer to you, the people of District 3. Your voice matters, and I will work every day to represent you with integrity, transparency, and the upmost respect.

Thank you again for all your support. May God bless you, your families, and this great county.

If you aren’t registered to vote, now is the perfect time! We still have the County General Election on August 6.

While I am uncontested in the General Election, I encourage everyone to get out and vote for every Republican candidate on the ballot.

Over the past several weeks, I’ve continued talking with many of you throughout our district. The concerns you’ve shared have made one thing clear: we have a lot of work to do come September 1.

I want to make you one promise: I will be your voice, and I will work for you. I will continue to listen, show up, and represent our county with integrity and transparency.

If you’re not registered, don’t wait—make sure you’re ready to vote on August 6!

Wishing each and everyone’s family a blessed and Happy 4th of July!

I just want to say how truly humbled I am that the people have placed their trust in me. For the past 10 to 12 weeks, I’ve gone door to door through the rain, the cold, and the heat because I wanted to make sure your representative works for you.

I also received a phone call from my friend Stefan Wilson, who ran a good campaign. I’ve been involved in politics for a long time, and I can honestly say it was a clean race. I appreciate that very much.

I look forward to working together with my longtime friend and now fellow Commissioner Neal Porter. I believe our experiences together will help serve the people of this county well.

Most importantly, I want to thank God for giving me this opportunity and the strength to do it. I want to thank my family, especially my mom, who was a nervous wreck for most of this campaign, along with my friends and the fellow commissioners who supported me even while they were running their own races. That says a lot about the leadership we have in this county.

I also want to thank everyone who helped make this possible. To those who put signs up, made phone calls, knocked doors alongside me, and worked the polls yesterday, thank you. Campaigns are never won by one person alone, and I truly appreciate every single person who gave their time and energy to help us reach this moment.

We have a long road ahead and a lot of big decisions to make. The work starts now. The people have spoken, and I will not lose sight of why you elected me.

Thank you all again. I am truly honored.

You have a decision to make. My one responsibility is to the people of this district. I don’t owe anyone anything except you.

This is about having a representative who is ready to serve, who shows up, and who puts you first. A lot has been said this campaign about transparency, limited government, and being there for you.

I’ll keep it simple. I will always stand with you, the people.

I haven’t just talked about it, I’ve been out there doing the work, knocking on doors, meeting so many of you, and hearing what matters most. Being involved isn’t about badges or titles, it’s about showing up and representing the people who matter, each and every one of you here in District 3.

This election is about the future of this county, our character, our heritage, and whether we can preserve it for the next generation.

I’ve been truly humbled by the support. Please don’t sit this one out. I’d be honored to have your vote.

I appreciate the opportunity to speak with the Daily Times about why I’m running. This isn’t about politics, it’s about the people. I grew up here, and I want to raise my family here. This is my home. I want to do my part to make sure this county remains a great place to live and work for everyone who calls it home, for generations to come.
