Meet Kate Mailloux, our Director of English Language Development!

While she dreamed of being a teacher or a lawyer growing up, Kate found her true calling leading in multilingual education. Inspired by champions in the field like Kathy Escamilla and Montserrat Garibay, she brings energy, expertise, and dedication to our students every day.

When she's not paddleboarding, snowboarding, or showing off her juggling skills, you'll find her cheering on Boston sports, listening to folk, rock, and reggae, and keeping up with her daughter entering kindergarten and son entering 1st grade!

Mashpee Middle-High School was recognized as one of the leading high schools across Cape Cod by the U.S. News & World Report 2026-27 Best U.S. High School Rankings.

MMHS was ranked second among Cape Cod high schools, following Sturgis Charter Public School in Hyannis, and was thus the highest-ranked traditional public high school on the Cape. The home of the Falcons was a top performer, ranking 89th in Massachusetts and falling in the top 25% of ranked high schools statewide. It was ranked 2,046 out of almost 18,000 schools nationwide, placing in the top 12% of high schools nationwide.

“We are so proud of our students and staff across Mashpee Public Schools,” Superintendent Michele M. Conners said in an email to The Enterprise. “This is truly a district-wide accomplishment, as well as a celebration for our entire community. We could not do this work without our dedicated educators from pre-K to 12th grade, and the unwavering support of our families and broader community makes it all possible.”

🎾 Calling all current MMHS tennis squad members and future team stars! Join us for Tennis in the Parks. A 6-week program designed for grades 7–12. Whether you're already repping the MMHS squad and want extra court time to stay sharp, or you're thinking about trying out for the team, this is the perfect way to get match-ready.

Led by Coach Kathryn, Coach Dave Sugar, and assistant staff, sessions focus on skill building, match strategy, and confidence on the court.

Bonus: Every participant receives a BRAND-NEW TENNIS RACKET to use during the program and keep!

Where: Mashpee High School Tennis Courts

When: Thursdays, 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Sept 3 – Oct 8, 2026)

Cost: $70 Residents / $80 Non-Residents
