✊🏾 Happy Juneteenth

Today we recognize Juneteenth, a day honoring freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of justice and equality. It marks a significant moment in history and serves as a reminder of both progress and continued work toward true equity.

Juneteenth is also a time to reflect, learn, and honor Black history, culture, and contributions that continue to strengthen our communities.

Today is all about enjoying good food, fresh air, and time with others—whether that’s in a local park, your backyard, or even indoors if the weather doesn’t cooperate.

Picnics are a simple reminder to slow down, connect, and enjoy the moment. Grab your favorite snacks, a blanket, and some good company, and make the most of the day.

Today, we recognize and celebrate the American flag—a symbol of our nation's history, resilience, and unity.

Flag Day commemorates the adoption of the United States flag on June 14, 1777, and serves as an opportunity to reflect on the values of freedom, service, and community that bring us together.

As we observe Flag Day, we honor those who have served our country and the many individuals who work every day to strengthen and support their communities.

Every day, our advocates work hard to support survivors, educate communities, and create meaningful change across the areas we serve. From providing direct services and crisis response to prevention education and community outreach, their dedication makes a lasting impact.

But none of this work happens alone.

The support of our communities—our partners, volunteers, donors, schools, businesses, law enforcement agencies, healthcare providers, and community members—makes it possible for us to continue this important work. Your support helps us reach more survivors, provide critical resources, and build safer, stronger communities.

Thank you for standing with us and helping make a difference every day. Together, we can accomplish so much more than we ever could alone. 💙
