The tragic crash in Eaton County that claimed the life of an Eaton County road worker is a heartbreaking reminder of the dangers our road crews face every day while working to keep our communities safe.
Behind every safety vest and every work zone is someone’s family member, friend, and coworker. They deserve to make it home safely at the end of each day.
Please slow down, put your phone away, stay alert, and give road crews the space they need to work safely. A few extra seconds of caution can save a life.
Our thoughts are with the worker’s family, friends, coworkers, and the entire Eaton County community during this incredibly difficult time.
