The goal of ASD programming goes beyond the classroom. It’s about helping students build the communication, social, academic and functional skills they need to become more independent and access more opportunities alongside their peers.

At Smith Elementary School, Stockbridge MI specialized support and connection in the general education environment work hand in hand. Students are given the tools they need, opportunities to practice those skills and support that evolves as they do.

Through Ingham ISD’s ASD program at Emma Smith Elementary, students receive specialized instruction and individualized support while remaining connected to a general education school environment.
