The Mason City Library is slowly getting in shape in our new location on 580 Pomeroy Street in Mason WV! We are trying to get things ready for a soft opening by the middle of March!! Putting in many hours of hard work but it will be worth it in the end! Stay tuned for opening day.

Sitting at the former library in mason in the quiet before turning keys over to new owners! It’s bittersweet thinking about how far the library came and how many more goals will be attained. This was my first library job and I have loved (almost) every minute of it. Kids from story hour, our patrons, and staff were the best!! I’m a little teary eyed this morning but once I’m walking away it will be excitement for the future! As a great lady used to say “Onward”!

Words will never express the gratitude of all the people that showed up to help us move the library today!!! But to all the hard workers that came out to show support of the library thank you! The move is done but now we have to put it all away!! Still a way to go before we will be open but bear with us! The change and move will be worth it. Again thank you for all your help!!
